Over the years, we have found most people need a program with a beginning and an end to help reach their fitness goals. They also want a program that will work for them, if left to themselves; they will not be as motivated and lack accountability. Offering a structured program with the right combination of cardiovascular exercise, weight resistance training and nutritional guidelines taught by professional instructors in beautiful surroundings will motivate one to continue.Q:
What does the program involve and what should I expect?A:
Expect to be assessed on Saturday September 20, 2008. We give you a six week-goal based on your current measurements. You will receive nutrition guidelines with caloric needs to reach your goals, exercise guidelines and six weeks of fun outdoor classes created with your goals in mind. Six weeks later on November 1, 2008 you will be re-assessed, your results will be calculated and given to you within a few days.Q:
What does an assessment consist of?
A:
We measure total body weight using a standard calibrated scale, we measure body fat percent using Lange Skin fold Calipers and take girth measurements using a standard measuring tape. Your measurements are calculated and based upon your calculations you are given a reachable six-week goal for body fat percent and total weight. You are also given caloric recommendations based upon your current calculations. This process takes only 15 to 20 minutes of your time. Q:

The Six Week Fit Challenge offers you Boot Camps, Cardio-Kick boxing, Cross Training, Hiking, Nordic Walking, Pilates, Trail Running, Yoga, and Saturday Seasonal Adventures. Check our current schedule for times, days and locations.Q:
Upon entering the Six Week Fit Challenge what kind of results can I hope for?A:
Every person that has followed our guidelines and completed our program has seen one or more of these results: decreased body fat percent, increased lean tissue mass, decrease of girth measurements and total body weight loss. They have also benefited from positive health changes such as decreased blood pressure, lowered cholesterol, increased stamina, normalize blood glucose levels, absence of depression and a heightened quality of life.Q:
How can I stick with your program for six weeks when I have failed at other attempts for weight loss and getting fit?A:
All our classes are created with your healthy goals in mind. Our certified, professional instructors will motivate you, encourage you and assist you with any of your health and fitness questions. Working-out with others creates a safe setting, accountability for motivation sake and establishes new friendships. It is easy to quit a workout program; it is not so easy to leave a group of friends you enjoy spending time with. Challenge yourself to a “workout without walls” gaining better health, friendships and fun all in an outdoor experience.Q:
I work during the week with limited time, what if I cannot make all the classes?A:
You can attend any scheduled class, any time. We offer classes six days per week from 6:15AM – 7:15PM. Taking an exercise class two – three days per week will make a notable difference in your body composition.Q:
