Most people need a program with a beginning and an end to help motivate them to reach their personal fitness goals. People want a program that will work, is easy to stick to and is fun. It is always easier in a group environment, where everyone is aiming for a similar goal. Offering a structured program that emphasizes MOVEMENT, STRENGTH, STRETCH and REPAIR will result in life changing results.

What does the program involve and what should I expect?

A:

Expect to be assessed on Day-1 of the Challenge. You receive a fitness, weight and body composition goal based on your current measurements. You will receive nutrition guidelines, caloric recommendations, exercise guidelines and unlimited outdoor fitness classes created with your goals in mind during the challenge period. On the last day of the challenge you will be re-assessed and your positive changes will be recorded.

What does an assessment consist of?

A:

Total body weight Measurement using a standard calibrated scale, body fat percent measurement using Lange Skin fold Calipers and girth measurements using a standard measuring tape. You are given a reachable goal for body fat percent, lean tissue, body fat weight and total weight. You are also given caloric recommendations, a DETOX nutrition plan and nutrition guidelines based upon your personal calculations. An assessment takes only 15 to 20 minutes of your time.

What classes are offered during the FIT CHALLENGE?

A:

MOVE - Hiking, Nordic Walking, Trail Running STRENGTH - Boot Camps, Cross Training, SmartBells STRETCH - Pilates, Yoga REPAIR - Weekly accountability classes, using the "LEAN ME UP!" curriculum. Check current schedule for times, days and locations. You will get first priority when signing up for our seasonal adventures such as Kayaking, Stand Up Paddling, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, etc. (seasonal adventures include a small extra fee)

Upon entering the Fit Challenge what kind of results can I hope for?

A:

Results vary from person to person. Improvements we have recorded are: a) total weight loss, b) decreased body fat percent, c) decrease of girth measurements, d) increased lean tissue mass, e) increased energy and stamina. Other positive health benefits recorded include: a) decreased blood pressure, b) lowered cholesterol, c) increased stamina, d) normalize blood glucose levels, e) absence of depression and f) a heightened quality of life.
