About Us
We are a group of fitness and outdoor enthusiasts.
We enjoy the challenge of staying in shape, yet we also are realists.
We know that IF we want the results we desire, fifteen minutes on the
treadmill just won't do it (and that's about ALL we can handle of being
indoors). We LOVE being outdoors, we LOVE friendships, we LOVE challenging
our weaknesses until they become our strengths.
We believe FITNESS SHOULD BE FUN! So, we hike, we kayak, we snow shoe,
we cross country ski, we rock climb, we have fun, we enjoy nature and
each other's conversation. We stay in impeccable fitness shape, without
beating our bodies to the ground.
When one enjoys what they do it's not work anymore. I suppose
we can say we "fun out" instead of "work out"....
But, that doesn't make much sense.
October 1, 2002 is the official birth of the "OUTDOOR FITNESS ADVENTURE CLUB"

Ed Testa
Mountain Biking Instructor
Growing up in sunny Orange County has given me an appreciation for all things outdoors. I enjoy mountain climbing, skateboarding and participating in off road challenges, but my main passion has always been for cycling. I first fell in love with it twelve years ago when I bought a second hand bike and starting riding locally in South Orange County. Each ride made me want to try a new challenge and push myself a little farther, within two years I was riding competitively and in 2005 I took 3rd place in the State Single Speed Cyclocross series. Another proud achievement was being the 1st single speed to complete the LA Wheelman hill climb competition and have also twice completed the ultra endurance Warriors Society Vision Quest which is over a 50 mile off road mountain bike race on a single speed mountin bike through some of the most grueling climbs in this area. Cycling has led me to a greater appreciation for our beautiful landscape. This appreciation led me to earn my Naturalist Certificate 8 years ago. This certificate allows me to lead mountain biking and hiking tours in the County's private reserves. I have a passion for sharing these experiences with all levels of mountain bikers from the very beginner to the most experienced. Cycling is a fun way to be out of doors and experience new challenges while making great friends. I am currently working on a certificate in environmental restoration at Saddleback College.
